Programme Objectives

• Minimise generation of waste through more efficient processes, re-use or recycling. Ensure unavoidable waste is handled, stored and disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner

• Use of safer chemicals & processes in our new development programmes and existing products.

Commitment

In addition to ISO14001, as an active member of the UK Chemical Industries Association, the company is committed to the international Responsible Care Standard for continuously improving its operations and supply chain management.

Compliance

The company works in close liaison with the UK Environment Agency and the Health and Safety Executive, ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations.

Our aims are to exceed these standards as part of our environmental improvement programme.

Flexibility

Flexible Environmental Authorisations that provide a high level of environmental protection whilst ensuring minimum delays in the adoption of new processes while meeting our statutory responsibilities.

Local Community

Robinson Brothers has a well-regarded Environmental Liaison Committee, providing a forum for discussion & dissemination of information. We publish a quarterly news letter and are engaged with all of our local schools. We actively seek feedback on our environmental performance as a target for improvement.
