Robinson Brothers Ltd (RBL) has appointed CBC Co., Ltd.(CBC) as non-exclusive agents to represent RBL’s interests in the pharmaceutical and wider speciality chemical markets in Japan.
CBC Co., Ltd. has its headquarters located in Tokyo, and further representative offices are located in the commercial centres of Osaka and Nagoya.
CBC is to represent RBL’s interests in speciality chemicals, intermediates and contract manufacturing services. The appointment was first agreed in January 2006 and is to be officially launched during the forthcoming CPhI Japan Exhibition in Tokyo 24-26th April 2006.
Robinson Brothers Ltd selected CBC to represent them in Japan because of their extensive knowledge, contacts and long history of developing business for overseas principals within the Japanese chemicals industry. RBL believes the network of CBC principals having broadly common business interests, are able to offer their customers in Japan a unique range of complimentary technologies, products and custom services. The high quality standards of CBC and their partner network permit them to supply specific building block raw materials, intermediates, fine chemicals and active substances to all of their important customers in Japan.
RBL has been trading in Japan for over 25 years, for which time it has been represented by the company Nagase & Co., Ltd. Nagase continues to offer limited representation for RBL for their already established business. Whilst from April 2006 it will be CBC who will in future focus on RBL’s new business development activity in Japan, in which we wish them every success!
The appointment of CBC does not effect RBL sales representation for the ROBAC Polymer Chemicals, which will continue to be distributed within Japan by Miki & Co., Ltd.
