Agrochemical Intermediates

Robinson Brothers Ltd manufactures and supplies several products that are used as intermediates in the synthesis of agrochemical active ingredients. These include cyclohexanedione and methyl thioglycollate, both of which are produced on a scale of several hundred tonnes per annum.

In addition to this, RBL has the resources and expertise to supply a wide range of intermediates via custom synthesis, all of which can be produced under highest confidentiality. Our portfolio of technology, including organo-sulphur chemistry, catalytic reduction, means that we can provide a diverse range of sulphur and nitrogen containing intermediates. We are also able to supply cyclic and heterocyclic molecules.

Our strong process R&D department can provide a rapid and flexible response to enquiries for new intermediates. Continuous investments in capacity utilising in-house engineering capabilities (design, procure, build) ensures that RBL is able to support the timely progression of new Agrochemical projects from supply of first launch quantities to the on-going supply of large tonnes.
