Robinson Brothers Ltd is the world's largest manufacturer of Cyclohexane-1,3-dione, with the product being supplied against numerous applications in the pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries.

RBL has its integrated feedstock strength to manufacture a wide range of intermediates derived from 1,3-CHD. These include pharmaceutical intermediates such as 2-methyl-1,3-cyclohexanedione and 3-butoxy cyclohex-2-ene-1-one.

In addition, RBL core strengths in cyclisations and catalytic reductions have been applied to provide other cyclohexane based pharmaceutical intermediates, including 4-(4-chlorophenyl) cyclohexane carboxylic acid.
